The MILF made the reaction following charges of a former MILF commander who claimed the separatist is luring minors with juicy promises once they are listed and trained under its forces.
The claim was made revealed by Liling Siddik over the local ABS-CBN TV news aired Friday.
But the MILF through its Zamboanga peninsula official vehemently objected the allegation citing that those minors who are in their ranks have voluntarily joined the MILF to fight for cause against reported abuses from the military.
It added that other minors were siblings of the MILF who opted to be in the rank and were not forcibly recruited.
But the military intelligence reports disclosed that MILF recruitment have been on going in Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay despite strong protest from the military as this is a clear violation of the existing ceasefire between the rebels and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). #
